In this brief report we describe an extraordinary case of a pediatric
patient with a history of medulloblastoma who developed an intracranial
mass-like lesion during growth hormone treatment. To our knowledge this
is the first case report of a mass-like lesion as a consequence of
parenchymal fluid leakage adjacent to an intraventricular catheter due
to increased intracranial pressure during growth hormone therapy which
has been proven by biopsy.
